Our family rooms are great for families or groups travelling together. The room sleeps six and includes a queen bed, a single bed and three upper bunks with space for bikes and luggage beneath.​​

Communal Spaces

Sharing is caring here at the The Boathouse Lodge and we have plenty of spaces for you to mix and mingle. Bathroom's, kitchen, and rest areas are used by all guests so please be respectful of others.

Check in time is 12:30 PM. Guests arriving prior to this time may, on occasion, be provided with rooms when they arrive, but only by pre-arrangement. Check out time is 10:00 AM. Later check out may, on occasion, be possible but only by pre-arrangement with our reception. Late arrivals can be arranged.

General Policies

  1. Children of all ages are welcome.

  2. Smoking is allowed in some of the open air areas

  3. Parking for all guests is available on site and is free of charge (subject to availability).

  4. Bikes are welcome in your room, please clean in bike station at front before entering lodge

  5. An entry code to the front will be sent on the day of your arrival, your room key and instructions on how to access your room will be on the main reception desk in a named envelope

Cancellations

You can cancel your booking up to 24 hours before arrival FREE of charge. (Not applicable to group bookings.) If you cancel less than 24 hours of your arrival or are a 'no show' we will charge you the complete amount.

Payment Conditions

  • A valid credit card is required to confirm your booking, this will be charged on the day of your arrival.

  • Cash, eftpos and debit card accepted FREE of charge.

  • Visa / Mastercard / Union Pay credit cards accepted but will include a 3% surcharge.

  • Room rate offered is in New Zealand dollars and includes GST (Good & Services tax) of 15%. This is subject to change without prior notice as per New Zealand government ruling.
